Although eight-year-old SUGIE is a Beagle mix, her heart and soul is 100% Beagle. Once she picks up an interesting scent, like all Beagles, Sugie focuses on nothing else, and all rules go out the window. Sugie will follow a scent relentlessly to the ends of the Earth, through backyard woods, across busy roads, oblivious to danger.

For her own safety, this dog had to be kept tethered.

Her very kind and caring owners couldn’t let little Sugie be tethered like that, not for another minute! They did the right thing and called Chain Free Dogs. Chain Free Dogs swiftly collaberated with Backyard Borders to get a fence up for this sweet and lovable dog.

Sugie can now freely carry on as any 100% Beagle should, without sniffing herself into harms way!
