This pretty gal, MAISY, only two years old, had been stuck at the shelter for EIGHT LONG MONTHS — nearly half her life!

Recently, the universe took notice of Maisy’s loneliness and dispatched a knight in shining armor to the rescue. A military veteran (and his son) were chosen for the mission, and they carried it out flawlessly! They showed up right on time and brought Maisy to live with them in their loving, forever home.

Maisy’s new family already had established fencing, but a big section was missing, a green light for Maisy to take off out into the wild blue yonder.

Thanks to a generous donation from Elizabethton Federal Savings Bank, Chain Free Dogs was able to zoom right over and rebuild the missing fence.
